The holiday apartments of the Casa
Carla with one bedroom sleep up to 3, with two bedrooms up to 5
guests.
Each apartment has an integrated kitchenette, bathroom
and a balcony with sea views.
The kitchenettes are equipped with
oven, gas stove (4-flame), freezer / fridge combination and all
other necessary kitchen appliances. Some have a dishwasher.
The
living area is light and furnished with wooden furniture, sofa
bed, TV and four seat dining table.
The apartments with two bedrooms
have a matrimonial in one bedroom and two full size single beds
in the other bedroom. The bedrooms have large built-in cupboards.
Lots of stow-away space.
The bathrooms have a bathtub with shower
(curtain), washbasin, WC and washing machine. To dry the laundry
some apartments are equipped with a dryer, the others have a patio
to hang it up.
Each holiday home has its own sea view balcony; - given
good weather conditions, various neighbouring islands are visible
from there. Sunset is the most stunning view. Enjoy a glass of “local
red” while the sun sets La Gomera on fire.
The Casa Carla is a small apartment house in Playa
San Juan with only 8 units for rent to holiday makers in the south-west of Tenerife island.
The building stands directly at the sea. Shops for
your everyday needs are very close by. Stroll to shop and live
easy here.
It is only a few minutes on foot to a new sandy beach, the small fishing boat
mooring and to a very beautifully placed paved walkway at sea side with leads
to the central plaza with its large and shadowing trees inviting you to spend
some time on a bench doing nothing.
Bizarre lava formation that influences the village structure and layout, small
narrow streets and tiny stores make the atmosphere of an undisturbed fishing
village of times long past. Combine this with modern and very good fresh fish
restaurants and some more modern buildings at the centre of the village and you
have: “Playa San Juan”.

The village
Playa San Juan ist still a fishing village but now has additional
income from sustainable tourism. Residents here are mainly
locals and expatriats from Germany and Britain.
The village has many commodities a holiday guest seeks without beeing
crowded and is perfect for a relaxing holiday.
The small and smallest guests will find a public playground
and the beach in walking distance most interesting.
Boat trips start from the this port to Los Gigantes and other
destinations. With a little luck you will see many dolphins
under way.
