The apartment Monica is a very pretty,
light and modern holiday home in Puerto Santiago near Los Gigantes, Tenerife south-west.
This
region has the most sought after climatic conditions on Tenerife.
Low humidity and very little temperature difference from day to night and summer to winter characterize this region.
It is only a three
minute walk to the sea from the apartment and Puerto Santiago
offers all you need to enjoy your holiday here even without hiring
a car. The splendid esplanade, stores of all types, restaurants
and cafés, all are well within walking distance
from the apartment.
The ample apartment Monica has about 100m2
of living space and is furnished with style. All equipment has
been renewed in the years 2006 / 2007.
The living area with kitchenette
is furnished with a sofa and has a satellite reception set top
box plus TV. The sofa may be converted to a bed to sleep a 5th
guest.
The kitchenette is well equipped with dishes, freezer-fridge,
toaster, coffee-maker, microwave oven, ceramic top stove and more.
Even a laundry iron is there.
There are two bedrooms in the apartment. One with a full size matrimonial
and the other with two single beds. Both bedrooms have built in
cupboards for storing clothes and more.
The bathroom has a tub, washbasin, WC and here
you will also find the washing machine. All towels (except for
beach use) are provided.
From the terrace you can enjoy a splendid view. The sea can also be seen. For
sporting ambitions there is a treadmill to exercise on the terrace.
The house features a penthouse pool and a giant sun roof. This area is accessible only to residents, so there is never a crowd.
The whole house is mostly inhabited by the owners themselves which reflects when
you look at the spotless clean hallway and other public access areas of the residential
house.
The village, Puerto Santiago, has a lot to offer. It is especially well suited
as starting point for hikes (walks) to Los Gigantes and Playa de la Arena. To
see more of the island you may use the buses the leave here in different directions.
There are plenty of restaurants in Puerto Santiago to suit every taste.
This apartment is very well suited for divers. The diving school is only 20 meters
away.

The village
Puerto Santiago: The exceptionally beautiful black sandy beach “Las
Arenas” is one of the major points of attraction in the steadily
expanding villages Puerto de Santiago and Playa la Arena.
Despite
some larger hotel and apartment house complexes clinging
to the steep hills, life is still going on at a relaxed pace
in Puerto Santiago.
A small esplanade invites you to stroll and discover.
The village lies next to the very bizarre coast line landscape
of western Tenerife.
Cliffs of hundreds of meters in height (the 2nd highest
in the world of that type) make the scenic background for
Puerto de Santiago. In the last couple of years, Puerto de Santiago has
grown together with the adjacent Los Gigantes to now be one of the most
sought after holiday makers destinations.
A boat trip is the perfect way
to explore the impressive cliff and this very special section of the
coast. Given a little luck, your boat will be escorted by the ever present
and beautiful dolfins in the sea here.
