The Apartment Milena is one
of two apartments that comprise the upper floor of a private
detached house in La Mareta, southern Tenerife. Each of
these two apartments sleeps two persons. The hilday home
also has a small detached garden house where two more guests
can be put up very well. It is possible to rent the garden
house together with one of the apartments at a special
rate so more than 2 guests can travel as one party.
La Mareta is a small settlement with only a few villas and houses in southern Tenerife, not very far from Los Abrigos and El Médano. It is perfect for the individualist even without a car as the bus stop is only 5 minutes away from the holiday home. Being near El Médano makes this a wonderful holiday home for the sporting traveller who enjoys kite surfing or wind surfing, scuba diving, jogging, hiking etc.
The sea is only about 300 meters from the house. La Mareta itself has no shops nor bars. Therefore the nights and the stretch of beach right by La Mareta are very peaceful and quiet.

The house has a well up kept pool, a beautiful garden,
bbq and a summer house.
Furnishing of the apartment is cottage style and practical. The sunny living room has a cosy suite and a TV with satellite reception dish.
The fitted kitchen, separated from the living room by a round arch doorway is well equipped with a coffee maker, microwave oven, freezer fridge combination, oven, pots, pans, plates and more...
The large separate bedroom has a matrimonial bed and a built in cupboard.
The bathroom is equipped with a washing machine for your personal use, a bidet, a bathtub, washbasin and WC.
The living room leads to the terrace which offers splendid panoramic views. The Atlantic ocean and the mountains can bee seen. Enjoy a glass of local red wine with the views of the land as the sun sets on Tenerife, or make use of the bbq, the garden and the pool.
Some 3 kilometres from the house lies “La Tejita” beach. This is the longest natural beach on Tenerife. Great for a morning walk. At its end lies the landmark of the south, the “Montana Roja” and at its base the only legal nude beach on the island.
The grand beaches of El Médano, (over 6 km) its esplanade and shopping centres are only a few minutes drive away to the east..
Fresh fish is served in Los Abrigos, the next town westwards of La Mareta. Also only a few minutes away. Here some restaurant owners still serve in the evening what they themselves caught out to sea in the morning.
